Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Liquid soap dispenser was empty at the handsink near the pizza prep. cooler.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure handsinks are kept supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and single-use paper towels to enable proper handwashing. Staff re-stocked the liquid soap during the inspection. Staff were observed properly washing their hands at this handsink after re-stocking the liquid soap during the inspection.

Comments

Handsink in the staff washroom was supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and single-use paper towels.
Refrigeration units were at or below 4 degrees C:
-Walk-in-cooler was at 0.8 degrees C.
-Pizza prep. cooler lower and upper components were at -4.1 and -2.7 degrees C respectively.
-Both beverage coolers were at 4 degrees C.
Refrigeration units were equipped with thermometers.
Probe thermometers were available on-site.
Temperature records were being maintained.
3-compartment sink was supplied with hot and cold running water. Sink plugs were available.
Ware-washing was not occurring at the time of inspection. Staff was aware of the proper manual ware-washing method.
200 ppm QUATS sanitizer was available inside both spray bottles and from the dispenser at the 3-compartment sink.
No signs of recent pest activity were evident at the time of inspection.
Staff with valid FOODSAFE Level 1 course training (expiration date: October 5, 2024) was present on shift.
