Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 50 ppm chlorine residual detected in the sanitizer container at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): **Issue corrected at the time of inspection**
Operator added more sanitizing solution to the sanitizer container. 100 ppm chlorine residual was detected after the solution was remixed. Sanitizing container must be able to detect 100 - 200 ppm chlorine residual for sanitizing all food contact surfaces.

Observation: 1. Ice buildup noted in the walk-in freezer.
2. Single-use cups and paper towels were noted stored in the staff washroom.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Defrost the ice noted in the walk-in freezer to avoid potential contamination of food.
2. Move the box of single-use cups and paper towels to a different location. These items cannot be stored in the staff washroom. Avoid storing food, food contact items and paper towels in a location other than the washroom to avoid potential contamination of these products when the toilet is flushed.

Routine inspection conducted today:
Handwash stations, including staff washroom, were accessible, equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel.
All refrigerator units were noted at ≤ 4C.
All freezer units were noted at ≤ -18C.
All foods were stored at least 6 inches off the floor.
Drain plugs available for the 3-compartment sink for warewashing. 50 ppm chlorine residual detected in sanitize basin of the 3-compartment sink.
Chlorine test strips available.
All in-use ice cream scoops were stored in dipper wells that were running at the time of inspection.
General organization and sanitation satisfactory.
No signs of pest activities noted during the inspection.
Operator (on-site at the time of inspection) has FOODSAFE level 1 equivalent certificate available and verified - expires March 29, 2027.
