HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: High (≥30) Total Score = 44
Critical Hazards: Total Number: 3
205 - Cold potentially hazardous food stored/displayed above 4 °C. [s. 14(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Preparation cooler in front (bubble tea) area was measured at an ambient temperature of 7 to 8 degrees C. The internal temperature of food/beverage located in this cooler was also measured at 7 to 8 degrees C.
Corrective Action(s): Lower risk perishable items such as pasteurized milk were relocated to another cooler at 4 degrees C or less. Ensure cold potenitally hazardous (perishable) food is maintained at 4 degrees C or less in order to limit the growth of potential pathogens.
Violation Score: 5

301 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Accumulation of black debris observed on interior surfaces of ice machine (upper portion of ice storage area, behind panel).
Corrective Action(s): Discard ice. Ensure all surfaces of ice machine are properly cleaned to remove all mildew and debris, then rinsed, and sanitized as the last step. Allow surfaces to dry completely before preparing new ice. Date to be corrected by: Today.

Note: Mildew and other debris may potentially contaminate ice. Ensure ice machine is cleaned and sanitized regularly to limit accumulation of mildew/biofilm.
Violation Score: 5

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): 1. No paper towels available at hand washing stations in back kitchen area.
2. Access to front kitchen hand sink soap dispenser was blocked by large plastic containers.
Corrective Action(s): 1. Paper towels supplied.
2. Large containers removed; soap dispenser was made accessible.
Ensure that at all times, all hand washing sinks are accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels in order to facilitate proper hand washing.
Violation Score: 15

Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 3
306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: 1. Oily cardboard observed on floor under prep tables in kitchen area. Pans stored on cardboard.
2. Debris observed in door seals and interior surfaces of front area coolers.
3. Debris observed on floor and storage areas in back of kitchen.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure above-noted areas are properly cleaned. Pans to be properly washed, rinsed, and sanitized and then stored in an area away from potential contamination. Do not store on floor. Date to be corrected by: Today.
Violation Score: 9

308 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not in good working order [s. 16(b)]
Observation: Preparation cooler measured 7 to 8 degrees C.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure no potentially hazardous (perishable) foods are stored in this cooler at this time. Have cooler adjusted or serviced as necessary so that it is in good working order and capable of maintaining food at 4 degrees C or less. Date to be corrected by: July 12, 2022.
Violation Score: 9

315 - Refrigeration units and hot holding equipment lack accurate thermometers [s. 19(2)]
Observation: No thermometers observed in two under counter coolers in front area.
Corrective Action(s): Provide thermometers that are accurate to +/- 1 degree C for the above-noted cooler in order to check unit temperatures. Date to be corrected by: July 12, 2022.
Violation Score: 1

Follow Up to "Critical" Violations Noted on Previous Inspections (if applicable): No corrections entered
