Observation: Cake decorating area wall is composed of a laminate type covered pressed fibre board. The board also has large circular holes where cream and other debris can accumulate.
Corrective Action(s): Board area must be covered in a material which is smooth, non-absorbent, durable, and easily cleanable. Do not cover work area with paper.
Correction: 2 weeks.

Comments

-Follow-up inspection to June 7, 2018.
-Bleach sanitizer in 3-compartment sink was tested at 100ppm. Bleach sanitizer in a labelled spray bottle was at 200ppm.
-Handwash station supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels. Ensure washroom hand towels are placed in the paper towel dispenser.
-Glass door cooler was properly closed at the time of inspection and was at 4C. Ice has been removed/defrosted from the condenser.
-3-compartment sink pipe has been glued and is no longer leaking water.
-General cleaning has been carried out by the mixer area. Ensure all walls and other surfaces are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition at all times.
-Handwash station cabinet door has been repaired.
-Did not find any used single use items in the facility at the time of inspection. All single use items are to be discarded after each use.
