Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Quaternary ammonia compound at dispenser and in all sanitizing pails measured at 0ppm QUATS. QUATS bottle attached to dispenser was empty.
Corrective action: Staff attached a new QUATS sanitizer bottle to dispenser. Dispensed sanitizer measured at 200ppm QUATS at time of inspection. All sanitizing pails are refilled with freshly dispensed sanitizer (200ppm QUATS). Adequate sanitizer is necessary to sanitize food contact surfaces and present microbiological growth and potential food contamination . Staff sanitized all food-contact surfaces and utensils at time of inspection. Also, make sure to use your test strips to measure sanitizer concentration.

Comments

General Comments
-Hand washing stations in front area, back area and washroom supplied with hot/cold running water, liquid soap and paper towel (single-use).
-Stand up cooler and all under counter cooler measured at below 4C.
-Freezer measured at -18C.
-Ice-maker and ice holding unit area clean and scoops are stored outside in sanitary condition.
-High temperature dishwasher measured at 75C at dish surface after final rinse.
-Temperature logs maintained.
-No sign of pest activity noticed at time of inspection. Pest control reports available and indicate no pest activity.
-Staff have National Food Safety Training.
-Chemicals are stored separate from food.
-Mop stored in sanitary condition in mop sink.
