Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DOLSOP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations

No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

On the inspection date of March 15, 2021 there were 8 children and 1 staff present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. Actions required by the licensee include no further action required and actions required the LO include no further action required. As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool was completed. This inspection report and risk assessment was completed off site and emailed to the facility the same day. The following education/recommendations were provided: Off site away play space practices were reviewed Health & Hygiene Practices Cleaning & Sanitizing Practices Social Distancing Practices Precautions and Practices for Sick Children Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).
