Report of Findings
Licensing received a complaint on May 3, 2022, regarding Physical Facility, Program, Records and Reporting, and Care and Supervision.

The following details were provided:
-Lack of supervision when children are climbing chairs or window ledges
-Care plan is not being followed for Child A
-Staff yell at children to direct their behaviours
-Facility lacks toys

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was obtained through interviews and video footage.
Licensing determined the following contraventions:
-Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) section 44(1)(c) Program of activities
-CCLR section 58(1)(b) Records and Reporting
-CCLR section 17 Physical Facility
-CCLR section 15(1)(b) Physical Facility

Observation: Licensing observed that the facility lacked toys and activities for children in one of the classrooms.

19220 - CCLR s.58(1)(b)A licensee must keep, for each child requiring extra support, a current care plan showing the following information: (b) the courses of action recommended by health care professionals to address the needs of the child requiring extra support.
Observation: The staff at the facility were unaware that a child with additional needs enrolled at the facility had a care plan.
