Observation: Loose screws stored on fire suppression equipment above food preparation counter.
Staff dipped food scoop into sanitizer prior to scooping food immediately after.
Chemicals stored together with food equipment in kitchen shelving and with single use food utensils in storage locker.
Corrective Action(s): Relocate screws and other items that may fall into food items during preparation.
All food utensils must be allowed to air dry after santizing before used again for food preparation.
All chemicals are to be stored separate and apart from food and food equipment.

Observation: Back door entrance - door sweep and threshold provide a large gap to allow for entrance of pests.
Storage room door - door sweep has been chewed through by mice.
Corrective Action(s): Repair / replace door sweeps and threshold to exclude the entrance of pests. Largest allowable gap is 1 cm.
Replace storage room door sweep.

Observation: Kitchen - food and debris collecting on floor corners by mop sink, under storage shelves and dust collecting on wall mount wire shelves.

Storage room - debris and mouse droppings in corners.
Corrective Action(s): All areas described are to be thoroughly cleaned to remove all build-up of food and debris from surfaces.
Areas affected by pest activity must be sanitized with dilute bleach solution (100 ppm chlorine) after cleaning.
