Observation: Fingernails on foodhandling staff were long, painted and at least one person wore artificial nails.
Corrective Action(s): Hand hygiene is paramount to safe foodhandling. Short unpainted nail allows for proper handwashing. Keep nails short and unpainted. Please be aware that the Canadian retail food code sec 5.2 states that "Fingernail polish, resin or artificial fingernails must not be worn by employees working with expose food."
