Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: 1.Commerical can opener blade has accumulation of old food debris adhered to it.
2. Ice machine trough and piping has dark substance growth.
Correction: 1.Clean and sanitize can opener blade to be free of any food debris to prevent potential contamination when opening new canned food items.
2. Remove all the ice inside to thoroughly clean and sanitize the ice machine interior following manufacturer's instructions. Discard first batch of ice that could have residual cleaning chemicals.

Follow-up to last routine inspection VTAM-DHQSLF.

Cleaning performed in the wire rack shelves in walk-in cooler.
Cleaning of areas has much improved and droppings have been removed from majority of the premise.
Note:* old droppings still present behind the cooking ranges and deep fryer where gas lines are. Operator stated was unable to move equipment due to gas lines.
Cleaning of can opener blade has been performed.
*Note: cleaning still required in the ice machine. Operator stated new HVAC company will be coming at some point to do the corrections. Ice machine will not be in use at all and no food will be made on premise until new school year begins.
Ensure cleaning has been performed on the ice machine prior to being used for the start of the year.
