Introduction

An unscheduled follow up inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of non-compliance identified at the last routine inspection were inspected.

Contraventions
Previous Inspection -
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At this inspection there were 7 children and 2 staff present. Upon follow-up inspection, it appears that all areas previously identified of non-compliance were suitably addressed.
A Health and Safety plan is in place that involves the Licensee. Two children named in the H&S plan were not in attendance at the time of the inspection and were marked "absent" on the attendance form. Both registration forms and emergency cards were available for review and were complete. Licensing reviewed communication between the Licensee and the parents involved in the H&S plan and confirmed permission to attend the facility as per H&S plan.

Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).
