Introduction

An unscheduled routine inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing of Practice (DLSP). All categories of care were inspected for compliance.

Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.
Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.
Comments

At the inspection dated March 11, 2024 there were 31 children, 7 staff and the manager present. At this inspection no contraventions were identified. No response is required at this time.

As part of this Routine Inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.

The following was discussed:
· The process and system in place for verifying and reviewing references of staff hired.
· The revision of the payment/repayment policy to reflect current practice.
· The addition of year and initial on minor log book entries.
