Comments

Handwashing stations in kitchen and in washroom equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels. Paper towel dispenser affixed to wall in washroom and ceiling panel above handwashing station replaced.

Double-stacking not observed in cooler units at the time of inspection.
Spices near cook line protected from contamination. Spice storage shelf lifted at least 15 cm off the floors.

Rodent droppings and sanitation items in facility improved. Operator to ensure shelving unit at checkout area is lifted at least 15 cm off the floors to encourage cleaning and to prevent pest attraction in hard-to-reach areas. Pest control invoice reviewed on site.

OUTSTANDING: Chlorine sanitizer bottles noted above 200ppm. Operator to prepare 1/2 teaspoon of 5.25% unscented bleach to 1 liter of water. Solution is to be applied to a cleaned surface and allowed to air dry.

OUTSTANDING: Large walk-in cooler noted at 7C ambient air temperature. Operator to ensure unit does not store potentially hazardous foods until it is capable of maintaining ambient air temperature at 4C or below. Walk-in coolers to be equipped with working internal thermometers to facilitate daily temperature logs.

Front door noted to fully close, but remains sticky. Operator to ensure door remains closed at all times.
Display cooler noted at 4C or below.
Chest freezer near entry noted at -18C or below.
