Observation: Some cockroaches still noticed on the glue traps in dishwashing area and bar.
Corrective Action(s): Keep up with cleaning efforts especially underneath and behind all equipment. Ensure that dishwasher, strainer, tables and countertops are cleaned extremely well at closing to prevent cockroaches.

Follow up inspection:
Great improvement noticed in general organization and cleanliness of the premises especially in dry storage room, main cook line and front servery.
All food items in dry storage room are now stored off the floor and several glue traps ( Max Catch) have been placed for mice control. Discussed the importance of
daily and thorough cleaning of food equipment, floors and surfaces with the owner as well as staff.
-Ice maker has been cleaned and degreased.
-Floor underneath and around hot water tank has been cleaned.

* Discussion also took place with the property manager to improve overall sanitation around oil bins, garbage bins and perimeter of the
restaurant. More bait boxes required on the exterior of the building to control rodents. It is equally important to ensure there is no build-up or spills
of grease on the oil collection bin. Ensure that garbage dumpster closes properly and is kept away from the wall.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO TAKE THE FOLLOWING MEASURES TO CONTROL PESTS.
1. Ensure to clean the window ledge and window on the South side to remove grease build up. This will help to discourage cockroaches
2. Arrange for placement of fresh bait for cockroaches through the pest control provider. (August 7, 2021).
3. Continue to keep all food items in covered bins and clean-up after dry food/fresh food spills immediately.
4. Continue to follow the cleaning checklist/sanitation duties as required to keep the premises organized and free of debris.
5. Clean mice dropping in the bar area. Use bleach mops on a daily basis throughout the premises.
6. Do not allow items/equipment and refuse to accumulate in the back hallway leading to the back entrance.

FURTHER INSPECTIONS WILL BE CONDUCTED TO CONFIRM COMPLIANCE WITH THE PUBLIC HEALTH ACT ORDER, WHICH IS STILL IN FORCE.
