Observation: Handwash station at the front service counter lacking liquid soap and paper towels.
Handwash station removed from service and converted to eyewash station, however, the sink chosen is in a primary location need for handwashing (at the primary food prep and handling station.
Corrective Action(s): All designated hand wash stations must be fully stocked with above at all times.
Make sure staff review prior to each day and throughout the day.
The eyewash station must be moved to an alternate location, ideally to a handsink much less used. Call as soon as possible to discuss.

Comments

Minor drain fly issue noted, mostly in dishwash area, but also in the main food prep portions of the kitchen. Possibly a result of inadequate sink cleaning and sanitizing. Removed single sink drain sink catcher and noted significant algae or bio-slimes forming underneath and around drain.
**Make sure the daily removal of the catcher is included in the sanitation plan for this section of the premises and that staff follow procedures when completing the daily cleaning of this section.
