Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Hand washing sink in the corner near the entrance did not have single use towels for drying hands.
Corrective Action(s): Staff refilled paper towel dispenser at the time of inspection. Ensure sinks are always equipped in order to properly washing hands.

Observation: Ambient air temperature of the retail display cooler located by the live fish holding tanks registered at 7 C. (Temperature between packages registered at 2 degrees C).
Corrective Action(s): Adjust/repair cooler so that it can maintain an ambient air temperature of 4 C at all times. Correct immediately.
If temperature does not drop to 4 or below in the next 2 hours, relocate potentially hazardous foods to another working cooler.

Routine Inspection

-Hand washing sink located by seafood tanks equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use towels.
-Quats registered at 200 ppm in spray bottle and from dispenser.
-Three compartment sink available for washing dishes.
-Walk-in cooler registered at 2 C.
-Walk-in freezer registered at -10 C.*
-Retail freezers registered between -6 C to -8 C.*
*Note, staff indicated freezers were going through defrost cycle. Temperature logs indicate freezers were at -18 C or below during the morning check.
-Ice bin with fresh fresh in retail area below 4 C.
-Previously frozen salmon cooler in retail area at 4 C.
-Previously frozen fish adequately labelled.
-Products for sale are within their best before dates.
-Temperature logs and live fish holding tank logs maintained.
-General sanitation satisfactory.
-Good employee hygiene observed.

***Shellfish harvest tags: tags available for review however tags were are not properly organized by the date/week sold. Dates on storage envelopes did not correspond with all the dates on the tags in the envelope (tag with a harvest date of Feb 2022 in a envelope dated for December 2021 sale).
Suggest separating tags by the week shellfish is put out for sale.
