It has to come to the health inspector's attention that H-Mart has sold live flounder imported from South Korea as sashimi which was clearly indicated as not allowed with the heardquarter of H-Mart.
Jonathan Choi, a manager at H-Mart headquarter, was contacted by phone to discuss this matter. He is to follow up with all store managers to ensure that this type of fish is not sold as "sashimi without proper freezing step."
Inspection was conducted at the facility and correction order was issued to stop the sale of live flounder as sashimi without a proper freezing step.
