Introduction

An unscheduled inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At this inspection dated November 20, 2019 there were 8 children and 1 staff present. At this inspection, no contraventions were identified.

Children were observed participating in: indoor play, transition to outdoors, and outside play.

The following was discussed with the licensee: sanitization procedures, daily schedule, and records and reporting practices.

As part of the routine inspection a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided. The Risk Assessment includes non-compliance identified during the routine inspection and a 3 year “historical” review of the facility’s compliance and operation.
