Routine inspection of kitchen in independent living facility carried out with Support Services Manager. Food service (dinner only) for some residents provided by Marquis/Compass. This is a servery kitchen only - no cooking or reheating. Food is prepared in inspected kitchen at 5410-10th Avenue Delta. Kitchen fridge temperature is at 4C/40F or colder - good. Thermometer provided in fridge. Hand washing sink has hot/cold water, liquid soap, and paper towels in dispenser. Dishwasher has a final hot water sanitizing rinse - 82C/180F shown on the gauge and 71C/160F measured inside of the machine - good. Premises clean. No obvious signs of pests. Signature not required. Copy of report to be emailed to Support Services Manager.
