HAZARD RATING FOR YOUR FACILITY: Low (≤15) Total Score = 6
Critical Hazards: There are no critical hazards.
Non-Critical Hazards: Total Number: 2
305 - Conditions observed that may allow entrance/harbouring/breeding of pests [s. 26(b),(c)]
Observation:
The back door has a space between the door jam and door. This will allow the entrance of pests into the facility.
Corrective Action(s):
Block the openings (weather stripping or adjust door to fit more snug) to exclude pests from wintering in the premises.
**Correction date: Oct. 31/16**
Violation Score: 3

307 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not of suitable design/material [s. 16; s. 19]
Observation:
1) The wooden shelves storing food items are unsealed. This prevents the surfaces from being cleanable and spilt food or drink will absorb into the wood and attract pests.
2) The coving along the base of the walls is not sealed or secured to the walls. This makes it difficult to clean the premises and may expose the drywall to mop water and start rotting the wall.
Corrective Action(s):
1) Paint the wooden shelves in a light color so they are smooth, sealed and cleanable.
2) Re-install coving along all the walls to allow proper cleaning to prevent water damage to walls.
**Correction date: May 1/17**
Violation Score: 3
