At this inspection the above noted contraventions were identified. The Licensee will take action to bring the facility into compliance and provide a written response to licensing by Feb 1/23 stating how the contraventions have been addressed. Licensing will review the response.
As part of this routine inspection, a facility risk assessment tool is completed. The risk assessment includes any non-compliance identified during the routine inspection, a 3 year ‘historical’ review of the facility’s compliance and operation. This is used to determine inspection frequency.
The following was discussed with the manager;
- Information to include in the minor incident log
- Gradual entry and behavioral strategies
- Toilet training and modifications to bathroom
- Supervision plan around climber with adding padding to the step-up area
- Supervision plan around floor heater

The following resources will be emailed;
- Staff immunization declaration

The contents of the inspection report were reviewed with the manager and written on-site. A copy of this report will be emailed to the manager.
Visit the CCFL website at www.fraserhealth.ca/childcare for additional resources, and links to the Legislation (CCALA and CCLR).
