Code 301 noted on Routine inspection # FEMI-CRFSUP of May-02-2023 Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not maintained in sanitary condition [s. 17(1)] Observation: Wiping towels noted on counter and hanging beside 3 comp sink Correction: Wiping towels must be in a bucket of sanitizer when not in use.

Comments

-Most issues are addressed. Outstanding are: -FSP for fish re packing- include comments and information re: how do you recieve the fish( vaccum packed , frozen, non vacuum packed frozen), all temp during defrosting and how (do not defrost in vacuum packaged , it has to be oxygen permeable packaging or out of plastic package) - No cooking is allowed in facility, just repackaging and for re-packaging of fish - all staff to be trained with the process (FSP) -Temp log sheet to be maintained minimum of twice per day monitoring data to be recorded (label all coolers and freezers with # ) -Store everything off of the floor (6 ") to aid cleaning and monitoring for pest activity -Dish drying rack is required for the 3 comp sink *** Noted black poison boxes ( Atalas pest control company)- 604-503-5444 www.atlaspest.ca inside facility- No Poison boxes inside - remove all and discard them immediatley. Send an email with your actions done for the above items (along with picture) to the attention of the area inspector no later then( with pictures re:dish rack) Tuesday May 23-2023
