Introduction

An unscheduled follow-up inspection to Routine Inspection # SMIA-CGYMPQ dated 03 August 2022 was conducted. All newly licensed facilities in Fraser Health receive one routine and one follow up-inspection to ensure they are maintaining compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulations (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSP

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

During inspection dated September 15, 2022 there were four children and manager present. Licensing found all the contraventions identified in the Routine Inspection # SMIA-CGYMPQ were addressed.
The following was discussed with the manager:
Children's cups used for drinking water to be stored in a way that children do not have access to all the water cups.
Children must be sit down while eating or drinking to prevent choking and to promote healthy eating habits.
Ensuring children files are complete before enrolment
The inspection report was written on-site and details were reviewed with the Manager prior to writing the report. A copy of the follow up to routine inspection report is provided to the manager at this inspection.
