Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Bleach sanitizer spray bottle was stored in the supply area. Work areas are currently wiped down with a cloth towel.
Corrective Action(s): Bleach sanitizer spray bottle must be stored in the food preparation area to allow for staff to properly sanitize food contact surfaces. Bleach sanitizer spray bottle tested at 100ppm was relocated to the work area at the time of inspection.

Observation: Storage containers with cake decorations was found in the staff washroom.
Corrective Action(s): Any food related items cannot be stored in the washroom. The washroom is considered a dirty location and may potentially contaminate cake decorations.

Observation: High temperature dishwasher overflowed at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Service high temperature dishwasher and ensure it can function properly to allow for proper cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and utensils. 2-compartment sink was prepared with 100ppm bleach at the time of inspection.

-Customer area cake cooler was at 4C.

-Temperatures are checked and recorded daily.
-Sink plugs available for 2 compartment sink.
-Handwash station easily accessible and supplied with hot and cold running water, liquid hand soap, and single use paper towels.
-Foods by the front cash register properly protected from potential contamination.
-General sanitation good at the time of inspection.
-No signs of pests noted at the time of inspection.
*FoodSafe Level 1 certificates issued prior to July 29, 2013 (do not have an expire date) will expire on July 29, 2018. To meet the FoodSafe Level 1 requirement, certificate must be valid/not expired.
