- Rotating vegetable slicer had just finished being used, as stated by staff. Chopped vegetables were observed in containers near vegetable slicer. Vegetable slicer was cleaned and sanitized at time of inspection.
- Bleach water sanitizer available in labeled spray bottle at approximately 200 ppm chlorine
- Food items were observed to be covered with the exception of three containers of chopped vegetables (colanders located within larger food containers). It was stated that chopped vegetables are being allowed to drain prior to covering. Ensure these are promptly covered.
- Wire shelving in walk in cooler is in clean condition
- Dry storage shelves in clean condition

The following is outstanding:
- Ensure that fan covers of walk in cooler are cleaned to remove all dust and debris
- Ensure that shelf noted on previous report is properly sealed or a new shelf is provided. Ensure that surface is smooth, non-absorbent, and easy-to-clean.
- It was stated that operator is on duty today but is temporarily away from the premises on delivery. Note: Operator's FOODSAFE certificate valid to 2023. It was also stated that at least one staff member will be scheduled to attend a FOODSAFE course. Provide to the Environmental Health Officer confirmation of FOODSAFE enrolment for staff member(s). Ensure that copies of all staff FOODSAFE certificates are kept on site and available to the Environmental Health Officer upon request.
Note: Operator arrived on site at end of inspection.
