Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): A bottle of 'Jade Mountain' Honey & Garlic Sauce was observed open, without a lid, stored at room temperature. The label states "Refrigerate After Opening". The product was discarded.
Corrective Action(s): Read the product labels and follow the instructions. Refrigerate as required.

Observation: The sole attendant on duty at the time of the inspection does not have the FOODSAFE certificate as required by the regulations, and did not know the required refrigeration temperatures. There must always be someone on duty who has the FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate.
Corrective Action(s): Sutvir Kaur must attend a FOODSAFE Level 1 class and obtain the FOODSAFE certificate.

Comments

Well maintained & operated. Sanitation is very good. Refrigeration measures < 4C. Freezer temperatures measure < -18C. Spray sanitizer measures 200 ppm Cl. A "Danger Zone" temperature poster was provided to the operator. Put this poster on the walk-in cooler door, so that staff may look at it when necessary to remind them of the required temperatures.
