Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation: The following items had food debris on surfaces however were placed in storage as "clean":
- Food processor
- Cabbage cutting machine
- Cabbage storage tub

Correction: Ensure all items are properly washed, rinsed and sanitized prior to putting away as clean. Do not put items away as clean when they are dirty and have food residue.

ITEMS CORRECTED:
- Pots moved up off floor
- Coolers rearranged such that raw meat is stored below ready to eat food products
- All equipment that was previously stored as "clean" but food debris found on items have been washed, rinsed and sanitized - all found to be in a state of good sanitary condition
- Cleaning has occurred
- Chemicals are stored and labelled appropriately
- Staff present with adequate FOODSAFE level 1 training.

NOTE: Obtain and post a sign indicating mop sink is for dirty water and for mop usage only. Under no circumstances is the mop sink to be used for food preparation purposes.
