Observation: The following foods in the storage area located in the back hallway had rodent chew marks on them and were discarded:

-One package of Mung Dal Beans
-One package of dried mushrooms
-One 40 kg bag of rice
Corrective Action(s): All of the food was discarded at the time of the inspection. Place all food in sealed, pest proof containers.

Observation: Fish sauce for sale at the front does not have proper labelling and a Food Safety Plan was not submitted for it.
Corrective Action(s): Either provide proper labelling and a Food Safety Plan to Fraser Health or remove the product from sale today.

Observation: Rodent droppings found in the following areas:

-In the dry storage areas.
-In both washrooms.
-On the floor around the dishwasher.
-One mouse was caught in a trap in the washroom.

The last pest control report is from November 20, 2023, with no activity recorded.
Corrective Action(s): 1) Call a professional pest control company to return and provide the report within one week. Ensure that their recommendations are followed.
2) Clean all droppings with a bleach solution.

Observation: Install a door sweep on the back door and check for and seal all rodent entry points. Also, purchase additional pest proof containers and store all food inside of the containers (even food that is stored in unoped boxes).

Hand sinks were supplied with hot and cold water, soap and paper towels.
All coolers were < 4 C.
All freezers were < -18 C.
Hot held foods were > 60 C.
The dishwasher reached > 71 C at the plate level.
Bleach sanitizer solution had 100 ppm chlorine.
General sanitation was satisfactory.
