Observation: One side of tap at hand wash station at far end of coffee bar was turned off.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed cut washed lettuce in a red strainer basket being stored on top of a mop bucket in the mop sink
Corrective Action(s): Do not store any ready to eat foods in this area or on the mop bucket as they are not clean and can contaminate food.

210 - Food not thawed in an acceptable manner [s. 14(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Found two large bags of frozen noodles that stated "keep refrigerated" on the label thawing on top of the grease trap.
Corrective Action(s): All frozen perishable foods must be thawed in the cooler or in cold water to prevent bacterial growth.

306 - Food premises not maintained in a sanitary condition [s. 17(1)]
Observation: Large build up of grease observed under stock burners, grease was solidifying and building up in cone shapes up off the floor in the back right corner and pooling in the far left corner.
Corrective Action(s): Give this area a deep clean and do not allow grease to build up to this point. *This is a repeat infraction* further violations of this nature may result in increased enforcement action such as ticket ($230 for a violation under this section). Cleaning due within 1 week.

Observation: Yellow bucket with "laundry detergent" as the label observed being used to store clean metal utensils (soup ladles, etc).
Corrective Action(s): Any container previously used for chemicals must not be used for food or food contact surfaces, regardless of how well it was cleaned previously. Clean and move utensils to a more appropriate container. Due: today.
