Observation: At the time of the inspection, the owner (who was present) did not possess a valid FoodSafe certificate. The owner and/or manager must possess a valid FoodSafe Level 1 certificate so they can proper train staff to handle food safely.
Corrective Action(s): The owner(s) shall immediately enroll into the FoodSafe Level 1 course and obtain the certificate.

Observation: At time of inspection, there were no staff present that possessed a valid FoodSafe certificate. There must be one staff member, present during operating hours, that possesses a valid FoodSafe certificate so proper food handling is done.
Corrective Action(s): Immediately have staff enroll and obtain the FoodSafe Level 1 certificate. Go to www.foodsafe.ca website for more information.

Comments

A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Cooler was 4C; freezer was -9C; and thermometers present.
- Hand sinks stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- Quat sanitizer in spray bottle had 200ppm strength.
- All foods stored in food grade containers; covered; labeled; date coded; foods stored in groups; and foods stored 6" off the floor on racks and shelves.
- No expired foods in use. FIFO rules being followed.
- General sanitation level is good. No signs of pests.
- Disposable items, and single packet items used.
- League play has started; public access (drop in and reservation); and party bookings.
- COVID-19 plan in place, some of the measures present are:

Increased sanitation of high touch areas (handles, buttons, washrooms), and communal items (chairs, tables, bowling balls), .
