Observation: 1. Build-up of dirt, food debris and garbage was observed under and behind slurpee machines.
2. Water spill was observed on the floor near 3 compartment dishwashing sink.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure that the facility is maintained in sanitary condition. Regularly clean the facility, hard to reach areas, corners and along the walls to prevent build up of food debris/dirt.

Comments

Routine inspection conducted at the food facility and the following observations were made during the inspection:

Temperature (coolers to be at 4C or less, freezers at -18C or less):
- Walk-in cooler at 2C
- Walk-in freezer at -23C
- Ice cream freezer at -12C
- Reach in cooler at 4C
- Undercounter cooler at 4C
- Undercounter freezer at -12C
- Back stand-up freezer at -18C
- Nacho cheese & chili sauce hot held at 142F
- Potentially hazardous food such as sausages, pizza, wings hot held between 63C to 71C
- Milk creamers were cold held on ice. As per staff, ice is changed every 2 hours.
- Temperature logs were maintained and found up-to-date.

Storage:
- All food items were stored at least 6" off the floor.
- All products were found either in original packaging or covered inside coolers.
- Storage area was well-organized.
- Chemicals and cleaners were stored separate from food preparation areas.

Sanitation & Maintenance:
- Hand wash station was adequately stocked with hot/cold running water, liquid soap, and single-use paper towels.
- Sanitizer spray bottle available and the concentration of QUATS noted at 200ppm.
- Sanitizer dispenser releases 200 ppm QUATS at 3-compartment sink.
- Utensils and tongs were found in sanitary condition.

Pest Management:
- No visible signs of pest activity observed at the time of inspection.

Administrative:
- Operating permit was posted in a conspicuous location.
- Staff has valid FoodSafe Level 1 certificate.

In general, the facility was well maintained.
