Comments

A follow-up inspection was completed, the following observations were made: - All foods have been transferred out of tin cans and stored in food grade containers with a lid. - Minimal mice droppings found in the premises. Improvement seen in cleaning and sanitizing the droppings up on a daily basis. - The exhaust canopy filters have been cleaned. Food and grease have been removed from walls and floors found behind and beneath equipment and prep tables. - New aluminum foil found protecting surfaces. Staff are changing it daily. - The chest freezer with the broken inner lid has been thrown away. Two new, smaller chest freezers have been purchased to replace the one last chest freezer in the dim sum room. The freezers were -18C. - A new faucet was purchased to replace the one that had a broken hot water tap. A plumber has been hired to install the tap in the next 2 weeks. - Pest company will return every month to eliminate the mice problem. - Inspection results discussed with the owner, no signature obtained due to the pandemic. ACTION TO COMPLETE: A new upright freezer hasn't been purchased yet, to replace the existing one. Ensure this is done by June 30, 2022. Use tin/metal catch-all-traps to catch the mice. Glueboards are not very effective in this premises.
