Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Renter added tables and rearranged station in a way that obstructed direct access to the nearest handwashing station.
Corrective Action(s): Station equipment was rearranged during inspection to allow for direct / easy access to nearest handwashing station. Ensure handwashing stations remain accessible and fully stocked at all times to facilitate proper handwashing. If proposing to make changes to layout / equipment, proposal is to be submitted to the EHO for review before making changes.

Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Opened cans of mango pulp and tomato paste in walk in cooler.
Food containers are not stored upside down (slight debris present).
Corrective Action(s): Contents of mango pulp can transferred to foodgrade container with lids/cover. Tomato paste placed in cooking pot. Ensure that once cans are opened, if the contents are to be stored, they are transferred to different foodgrade containers with covers/lids. The cans can rust over time where they are cut.
Ensure containers are stored upside down so that dust/debris cannot accumulate in them.

307 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not of suitable design/material [s. 16; s. 19]
Observation: Two shelves that renter added to station are made of unfinished particle board, that already shows signs of staining.
Corrective Action(s): Ensure shelves are replaced, removed, or finished so that the surfaces are smooth, non-porous, durable, non-toxic, suitable for the intended purpose, and easy to clean and sanitize. Current shelves are absorbent and cannot be effectively cleaned and sanitized. Date to be corrected by: December 11, 2024.

Renter at station 9.
Handwashing station has hot and cold running water, liquid soap, and paper towels.
Renter has two dry storage racks and one cold storage rack (walk-in cooler, at less than 4°C).
Chest freezer at -23 degrees C.
Proper cooling practices in use. Shallow containers in use for cooling (e.g. rice).
Renter has access to quats sanitizer for sanitizing station before, after, and during use as necessary. Sanitizer from dispenser measured at 200 ppm quats. Test strips available.
Prep sinks available for use.
Renter has access to dishwashing facilities. Low temperature dishwasher measured 100 ppm chlorine in the rinse residual at the utensil surface during the final rinse.
No signs of pest activity observed at the time of inspection.
