Comments

The following was discussed with the manager today:

Section 57(2)(g) of the CCLR;
Section 19 (5) of the CCLR;
The bathroom policy for the school age program if children use the washroom in the rec center;
Information that can be included in the transportation policy.

Licensing discussed diapering/pull-up procedures with 30 months to school age staff. A system is in place to ensure that children are not left in soiled undergarments.

The manager advised that medication required in association with care plans for the school aged children are kept with the school aged children. Licensing advised that they communicate with staff and parents to ensure that medications are current and available so that the care plans can be implemented.

Licensing would like to thank the staff for their time and assistance.
