302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): No sanitizer solution was available onsite at the time of inspection. Staff stated that sanitizer solution is prepared at the end of the day for dishwashing and only hot water is used to wipe down prep tables. Please note that this may result in inadequate sanitation of the food contact surfaces which can cause potential food contamination. Staff prepared 200ppm bleach solution in sanitizing pail at the time of inspection.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure that all food contact surfaces, utensils and equipment are adequately cleaned and sanitized.

401 - Adequate handwashing stations not available for employees [s. 21(4)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Handwash sink in the back area was blocked with 3 drain plugs & a cleaning brush and was not accessible for use at the time of inspection. Staff moved the drain plugs to another storage area.
Corrective Action(s): Please ensure that handwash sink is accessible for use at all times. Do not store anything in the sink.

307 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces are not of suitable design/material [s. 16; s. 19]
Observation: A cardboard box was used for storing clean utensils. Cardboard boxes can not be washed and sanitized and should not be used for storing clean utensils due to potential risk of contamination of food contact surface and food.
Corrective Action(s): Please remove the utensils from the cardboard box, wash and sanitize them again then store them in a sanitary manner. The food contact surface used for storage should be made of smooth, easy to clean and non-absorbable material.

Routine inspection conducted.

Findings:
- General sanitation of the facility was satisfactory.
- Temperature of prep coolers recorded at or below 4C
- Freezer in the back at -18C
- All andwash sink had adequate supply of hot and cold running water, liquid soap and single use paper towels.

- 3 compartment dishwashing sink used for manual dishwashing. Drain plugs and bleach bottle available.
- Excellent food storage practices were followed by staff.
- Food products was stored at least 6 inches off the floor.
- Ice scoops and regular scoops were stored outside the bins in sanitary manner.
- Staff has valid FOODSAFE Level 1 certificate (Exp Dec 21, 2027)
- Permit posted at the front.
- No signs of pest activity observed.
