-Health application received. Health permit fee received via cheque # ($25.00 Feb & March 2019) & cheque # ($150 April to March 2020)
-Copy of certificate of incorporation submitted
-Corporate food safety & sanitation procedures in use
-Operator (Shuwam Ali) has completed Foodsafe level 1. Temp. certificate provided *One person must be present at all times while in operation with Foodsafe level 1
-Premises maintained in sanitary condition * Some attention needed in hard to reach areas of the floor (under equipment at floor wall junctions). Ensure this is part of your regular cleaning schedule.
-Handsinks supplied with hot & cold water, liquid soap & paper towel
-Quats sanitizer solution present in warewashing sink
and spray bottles. Concentration of solutions measured 200 ppm. Test strips present for verifying sanitizer concentration
-All coolers operating at 4 deg. C or colder
Thermometers present for temperature monitoring
-Food protected from contamination
-No signs of pest activity. Pest control contract in place with Rentokil/ Steritech for monthly service.
*Self closing hinge on staff washroom door no longer in place. Replace/re-attach so that washroom door is self-closing as it opens into the food service area. In the interim, keep door closed (except to enter/exit washroom)
-Post health permit in a location that is visible to the public when permit arrives
-Permission to operate granted under Food Premises Regulation.
