Code 302 noted on Routine inspection # AKAO-BB6UMZ of Apr-12-2019 Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)] Observation: Glass washer out of service and drink glasses not getting sanitized after washing. Correction: -Glasses must be washed and sanitized in main dish washer, alternatively glasses must be soaked in 100ppm chlorine solution after washing and rinsing. - The glass washer must be repaired or replaced within two weeks. Code 402 noted on Routine inspection # AKAO-BB6UMZ of Apr-12-2019 Employee does not wash hands properly or at adequate frequency [s. 21(3)] Observation: Employees do not use the hand washing station on a regular basis. There were no paper towels at the time of inspection. Correction: Ensure all hand washing stations are equipped with liquid soap and paper towels at all times and staff must wash hands frequently and after every chance of contamination.

Comments

Glass washer is working properly. Final rinse tested 25 ppm iodophore sanitizer at the glass surface. Liquid soap and paper towels available at all hand sinks. Chlorine bleach sanitizer in the wiping cloth bucket tested 200 ppm. Quats sanitizer in spray bottle tested 200 ppm. * Ensure to install protective sleeves on all tube lights in both sliding door coolers ( By April 25, 2019). * Ensure that air gap is provided for drain pipe from the ice maker.
