Follow up inspection was conducted in response to a reported power outage in the 9000 block near 152 street Surrey B.C possibly in relation to a fire at a nearby food service establishment. Power outage was reported to occur at the aforementioned area near this restaurant on April 11, 2019 from approximately 5:10 AM to 8:52 AM. Inspection comments: -Operator stated that they arrived on-site yesterday at 8:30 AM in response to an alarm and noticed that there was a fire at a nearby restaurant. They stated that this restaurant had electrical power at 8:30 AM on April 11, 2019 and that they had checked the temperatures of their refrigeration units and products yesterday morning when they arrived on-site at 8:30 AM. -Temperature log from yesterday morning indicated that coolers were at or below 4 degrees C. -Operator stated that they did not observe any food "melting" yesterday. -Coolers were at or below 4 degrees C and freezers were at or below -18 degrees C at the time of inspection on April 12, 2019. -Handsinks were supplied with hot and cold running water at the time of inspection. -Power was present at the restaurant at the time of inspection on April 12, 2019.
