Observation: Boxes of food and products still noted on the floor in the walk-in freezer. Items are not organized and appeared to be thrown into the walk-in freezer with no organization. Unable to get inside walk-in freezer due to the amount of boxes blocking the entrance. Picture evidence collected.
As per staff, shelvings have been ordered for the walk-in freezer.
Corrective Action(s): Reorganize the walk-in freezer to remove all food products off the floor. Food products must be stored at least 6 inches off the floor to facilitate effective cleaning.

Observation: Mouse droppings still noted in various areas of the premises. Picture evidence collected
Corrective Action(s): Remove all items not required for the food premises to allow proper cleaning to be done at the facility. Move all boxes and clean and sanitize all floor areas noted with mouse droppings. This helps determine if the facility is dealing with a new or previous pest issue.

Observation: Flaking paints still noted on the wall and ceiling of the walk-in cooler. Picture evidence collected.
Corrective Action(s): Remove the flaking paints on the wall and ceiling of the walk-in cooler to prevent potential contamination of food stored in the unit. This also helps facilitate proper cleaning and sanitation as all surfaces in a facility must be smooth and easily cleanable.

Observation: Many cardboard boxes and materials not required for the store (i.e. light bulbs, shelvings, etc.) still noted stored in the facility. Picture evidence collected.
Corrective Action(s): Remove anything that is not required on the premises. Removing unwanted materials at the facility eliminates harbourage sites for pests.

Mop bucket not noted with mop water during the inspection.
Improvements noted on the cleanliness of the interior wall of the display refrigeration units holding vegetables and meat products. Minor debris noted.

Note: Many of the violations cited during the last routine inspection has yet been corrected. A follow-up inspection will be conducted in 3 weeks from now, if no improvements are noted, increase enforcement actions (including but not limited to correctional order, ticketing, etc.) will ensue.
