All hand wash stations were fully equipped with hot/cold running water, soap and paper towel.
All coolers with perishable foods stored inside at 4C or less (display case, under counter coolers, under counter unit of prep cooler, upright 1 door cooler, sliding 2 door cooler in dry storage...etc). See violation code 205 re: perishable foods in inserts.
Note: Display case cooler with only non perishable beverages approx 10C
All freezers -18C or less. (upright one door freezer and 3 freezers in dry storage...etc)

Sanitizer in front service area was 100ppm. Reminded staff to keep all wiping cloths stored in sanitizer solution when not in use. See code 302 re: sanitizer use.
General sanitation satisfactory. No obvious sign of pest activity noted at time of inspection.
Meat slicer appeared clean on the outside at time of inspection, however had food debris on the inside. Manager and staff on duty said that they only use the slicer once a week and had just used the slicer today, cleaned the outside and were just about to take it apart and clean/sanitize the inside.
Ice machine appeared clean. Scoop for ice stored in a separate container outside of the ice.
High temperature dish washer achieved 71C (with thermolabel).
All stored foods appeared protected (ie. stored off the ground, covered, all lights covered..etc) |
