Observation:
The 2-compartment sink taps are still broken and staff are using wrenches to turn the cold water on/off. This is not acceptable and was mentioned during the last routine inspection.
Corrective Action(s):
Repair or replace the broken tap so that staff can properly turn the cold water on/off with a tap handle, not wrench.

Comments

A routine inspection was conducted, the following observations were made:
- Cooler was 4C; freezer was -17C; and thermometers present.
- Bleach sanitizer in spray bottles had [Cl2] of 200ppm.
- Dish soap and bleach present to wash and sanitize equipment.
- Hand sink stocked with liquid soap, paper towels, and running hot and cold water.
- All foods stored in food grade container; covered; date coded; and 6" off the floor on pallets or shelves.
- General sanitation level is good. No signs of pests.
- Close the back, bay doors immediately after receiving or shipping items. This will prevent pests from entering the facility and prevent dust and dirt from entering the food.
- No expired foods in used. FIFO rules being followed.

A follow-up inspection will occur on Nov. 20/18 to ensure the sink taps have been repaired/replaced.**
