304 - Premises not free of pests [s. 26(a)] Observation: Repeat violoation - droppings observed on metal shelves in the candy aisle near the mall entrance and in the dry food aisle (flour, microwavable rice). One live mouse seen on top of packets of microwavable rice on metal shelves at the time of inspection. Corrective Action(s): Clean and sanitize the shelves daily. Consult with the pest control company to install traps in the area. Date to be corrected: June 25, 2021 Violation Score: 9

Observed the area reported with pest activity after the operations manager has confirmed implementing a plan to clean and disinfect the area. Mice droppings still being found on the metal shelves. Noticed the shelves are now fully stocked with no space in the back. - Ensure the shelves are not fully stocked from the front to back of the shelves. Leave some space empty in the back to allow easier monitoring and cleaning of mice dropping. - Despite the plan proposed from the operations manager, pest activity appears to be not improved. Please address the sanitation and stocking issues by next follow up inspection date June 25, 2021.
