Report of Findings
Licensing received a complaint on January 25, 2023 alleging concerns regarding Nutrition.

The following concern was raised:
- The home did not provide adequate amounts of food to meet the nutritional needs of persons in care.

All areas of the complaint were fully investigated. Evidence was collected through review of documents and onsite inspections.

Licensing determined the following contravention:

37100 - RCR s.62(3)The licensee must take all reasonable steps to ensure that the food served to persons in care follows the menu and, if unable to do so because of unforeseen circumstances, that the food provided to persons in care meets the nutritional requirements set out in subsection 62(2).
Observation: Licensing determined that more than fifteen meals served in the past month differed from the menu and were not confirmed to meet the nutritional requirements of the persons in care.
Corrective action: Corrective action required.
