Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Observed a stirring spoon stored in a room temperature water. The spoon was removed at this time. New spoon now stored in a cup of ice.

302 - Equipment/utensils/food contact surfaces not properly washed and sanitized [s. 17(2)]
Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): Both of food contact surface sanitizer pails were measured <100 ppm QUATs. The QUATs dispenser also measured <100 ppm QUATs. Replaced the source chemical bottle at this time. The dispenser dispenses 200 ppm QUATs after the correction. Pails replenished with 200 ppm QUATs.

Routine inspection conducted:
Hand washing stations are fully equipped with hot and cold running water, liquid soap and paper towels.
General sanitation is adequate.
All coolers measured at 4C or less.
Freezers at adequate temperature.
Food contact surface sanitizer available at 200 ppm chlorine and 200 ppm QUATs (see violation 302 for an additional detail).
No sign of recent pest activity noted at this time.
Ice machine in sanitary condition.
High temperature dishwasher's sanitizing cycle measured at 82.4C at the plate level.
Staffs demonstrated adequate personal hygiene practices (hand washing, clean aprons, hair control, etc.)
