Observation: Gasket on the under-the-counter cooler in the front service area does not seal properly. Note: Refrigeration temperature was at or below 4 degrees C, two thermometers were available inside it, and Manager stated that they check temperatures every 2 hours during operation.
Corrective Action(s): Replace the gasket for the aforementioned cooler so that it seals tightly when the refrigeration door is shut; Correct as soon as possible within 1 month.

Comments

Handsinks were supplied with liquid soap, hot and cold running water, and paper towels.
Walk-in-cooler and other coolers were at or below 4 degrees C and were equipped with thermometers.
Walk-in-freezer and other two freezer temperatures were satisfactory.
Hot-held food was at or above 60 degrees C.
200 ppm QUATS sanitizer was available in the sanitizer pails and inside the third compartment sink unit.
Dishwasher final rinse temperature was 79 degrees C (71 degrees C or hotter) at the plate level.
No signs of recent pest activity were present at the time of the inspection.
Ice machine and ice bin were in a clean condition.
Manager with equivalent course training to the BC FOODSAFE Level 1 (Advanced FST 3rd) was present on shift (expiration date: September 10, 2023).
