Comments

The licensee stated that a family member cares for the children when she picks up the school-age children.
The licensee also stated that this family member has her first aid.
Please ensure that make a complete file for this family member which includes a Criminal Record Check, character references, evidence that this family member has 20 hours of child care training and information regarding their immunization status.
Any person who is caring for the children in the absence of the licensee must qualify as a "Responsible Adult" as defined by the Child Care Licensing Regulation and have a complete file on hand at the facility.

During change time, the licensee is reminded that children and staff are required to wash their hands.

If the licensee is going upstairs during nap time; the licensee would need a baby monitor or other technology to ensure that children were being supervised.
