Observation: There is no hot water at time of inspection. Operator explains that when they were here last it was working.
Corrective Action(s): Restore hot water to facility immediately. Contact landlord to remediate the problem. It is not possible to maintain a clean and sanitary premises without hot running water.

Corrective Action(s): Liquid soap and paper towels were provided. However, there is no hot water at this facility. Hot water must be restored immediately. Facility currently does not cook or process food at this location but adequate hand washing stations must be provided.

Comments

Premises is only used for storage. Spices and dry food items such as sauces, sugar bags, and packaged items. As well as freezer storage.
Operator only comes in when there is need for storage items and to collect spices for the other Pho 99 locations. This is typically once a month.

- Appointment was made to conduct inspection. As facility is closed off to the public, as it is only used for storage
- No food processing or cooking takes place at this facility.
-Freezer is at -18C and food is stored in a safe manner
- Bleach sanitizer agent is available

*There is no hot water at this facility.* Operator explains they noticed this issue as they opened the facility today for inspection. They have contacted the landlord to remediate the issue. Until then Operator has voluntarily agreed to not handle the food items until then.

A follow-up inspection will be done regarding the hot water issue on November 15, 2021.
