Observation (CORRECTED DURING INSPECTION): At the time of inspection no bleach or quats sanitizer available for use. Staff member has no means to sanitize cutting board, saw, slicer, and grinder at the meat processing area. Zep Kitchen Emulsifier is a degreaser and not meant to sanitize food contact surfaces or food equipment.

As per changes to the BC Food Premises Regulation Section 23 and 24 food processors are to have a food safety and sanitation plan. Submit for review a food safety and sanitation plan by October 18, 2016. Call your district environmental health officer if you have any questions.
