Routine inspection: General sanitation is satisfactory. No obvious signs of pest noted. Pest control service attends weekly. Premises roast and package raw peanuts. The roasting room has not been operated for over a year. Handwashing stations has running warm water and is stocked with soap and paper towel. A two compartment sink is available. Prior to using the roaster, the machine is cleaned then sanitized (bleach solution). The packaging room below the roasting room is not being used. Nuts are stored in the cooler. Temperature was 4C. Warehouse is clean and well maintained. Operator indicated that the business is CFIA registered.
