Introduction

An unscheduled inspection was conducted to assess compliance with the Community Care and Assisted Living Act (CCALA), the Child Care Licensing Regulation (CCLR) and the relevant Director of Licensing Standards of Practice (DLSOP). All areas of the facility were inspected for compliance.

Contraventions
Previous Inspection - Contraventions observed on FIR #KFIH-B76Q4K have been corrected.
Current Inspection - Items reviewed comply with the Act, regulations & standards of practice.

Observed Violations
No violations were found during the inspection.

Comments

At this inspection dated March 11, 2020, there were 3 children and the licensee present. Licensing conducted a walk-through of the entire facility. No contraventions were identified.

The following was discussed with the licensee:
· Snack and mealtimes
· The practice of using soap and water for disinfecting cuts and scrapes
· Emergency management and procedures

As part of the routine inspection, a Facility Risk Assessment Tool is completed and a copy is provided.
The following education/resources were provided:
· Fraser Health: Guidance in the Selection of Cleaners, Sanitizers or Disinfectants
· HealthLinkBC: Food Safety in Child Care Facilities
